The reason I started preparing this project is,

I wanted to kneel and pray, but my legs would go numb, making it hard to pray for a long time. I tried to buy a prayer chair on the market, but none of the designs appealed to me, so I decided to make one myself. I have been woodworking for six years, making furniture. Through this Wadiz funding, I want to test my sense of design. I would appreciate your support.

I am carpenter Kim Daejung, making furniture from wood for six years.

I am working under the logo 'Daejung Woodworking,' which my daughter made for me.

So far, I have made over 150 pieces of furniture, and this time, I decided to showcase a prayer chair that reflects my sense of design through Wadiz funding.

After cutting high-quality Nyatoh plywood with CNC, I sanded, oiled, and assembled it myself to create a handmade product.

As you can see in the photos and videos, the cross-shaped shadow of the prayer chair's legs is not only beautiful but also gives a sacred feeling that I believe can help with prayer.
