It started in 2018.
Tesshi's hidden Korean consonant necklace is made with bold design in silver material and modern Gothic font, and has been loved for about two years. It's a necklace you want to gift to someone meaningful, like a couple necklace, girlfriend necklace, boyfriend necklace, or friendship necklace. This is a unique design exclusive to Tesshi, which has won awards in Korean design competitions and is registered with a design patent.

Tessy's Korean jewelry, which received much love as silver Korean jewelry, has returned through Wadiz Funding.

The '14k Gold' Korean consonant necklace,
It's not just a simple change from silver to 14k gold; we discarded the existing size of the silver Korean consonant pendant and carefully considered new proportions and fonts suitable for gold. As a result, we changed the font from the previous Gothic style to a more varied Myeongjo style. The line strokes of the Myeongjo style could express the sophistication that gold jewelry can offer even more deeply.

Why Myeongjo style?
A collaboration of classic and modern!
We wanted to add a twist to the simple and modern look by unexpectedly featuring a Korean design.
With 'Myeongjo style,' which contrasts with modernity through its classic feel.
Fonts like Gungsuh or cursive are styles that directly digitize handwriting done with a brush or pen, while Gothic style without protrusions is designed with almost no reflection of the natural hand flow unique to handwriting. Myeongjo style is exactly the middle ground between these.Myeongjo is a font that is based on handwritten style but has undergone orderly print-style design.
We went through countless revisions while modeling the pendant to best convey the beautiful lines of the Myeongjo style and the sophistication of 14k gold jewelry.

From determining the length of the pendant to selecting the appropriate thickness for each stroke,
When crafted in 14k gold, the proportion of stroke thickness, length, and width is important to create a pendant that retains its loveliness.

Because each consonant has different lines shown at the front,Each pendant is a necklace with a unique design form.

The width and height of the pendant are about 3mm, and there may be slight differences depending on the shape of the consonant.
The pendant comes in two lengths: 1.5cm and 1cm, and you can choose between pink gold and yellow gold.

Tessy's Korean consonant pendant necklace does not show the Korean letter when worn.
It is a lovely yet chic necklace with a small stick line design.
However, the moment you lift it up slightly!
The Korean consonant that represents you appears.
You will fall in love with the simple and modern line design, and again with your own Korean letter.

" Surely,
You will be satisfied with the Korean initial you personally chose, which appears the moment you lift the pendant."

Tessy's Korean consonant pendants are made through four main steps, with each pendant crafted individually. All these processes are carried out at a skilled goldsmith's workshop in Jongno 3-ga, with over 20 years of craftsmanship experience.

So, let's take a moment here,
'GOLD' has become quite a financial burden these days.
Let me briefly introduce you to 'gold,' which is featured as the material for the Korean consonant necklace in this Funding.

Gold is a material that has always been loved throughout time. While it holds value as an asset, it also has the advantage of beautiful color and properties, making it perfect for creating lovely jewelry.
Gold (GOLD) is the ideal metal for ornaments and jewelry.
It is chemically very stable and does not oxidize in air or water, so it rarely changes.
Its malleability makes it suitable for delicate craftsmanship like jewelry, and it has a very low rate of causing allergies. However, the downside is its high price. The unit that indicates the purity of gold is 'Karat (K).' Pure gold is 24K, gold with 75% pure gold is 18K, and gold with 58.5% pure gold is called 14K.
Unless it is pure gold, it is alloyed with other metals to increase its strength and to create gold in various colors. 14K gold, which contains 58.5% gold, is alloyed with metals such as silver, copper, and zinc, and depending on the ratio of these alloyed metals, it can be used as gold in different colors like pink or platinum.

Also, the concept of 'don,' a unit commonly used in Korea,
1 don = 3.75g of pure gold.
If you have 3.75g of 14K gold, you need to multiply the weight by 0.585 to calculate the amount of pure gold. However, when gold is designed and transformed into jewelry through the crafting process, it is not traded based solely on the weight of the gold. Labor costs for the crafting process are added, and of course, design costs are also included. Therefore, the price when buying jewelry and the price when selling it cannot be calculated based solely on the value of gold.
And,
You've probably heard a lot about how gold prices have skyrocketed recently.
Due to geopolitical and various other reasons, the price of gold has increased dramatically over the past few years!
When Tessi's 14K Korean necklace was first launched (in 2020), compared to the current gold price,The price of gold has increased by more than 2.7 times.
In 2020, 1 don (3.75g) of pure gold = around 250,000 KRW.
As of 2026, 1 don (3.75g) of pure gold = around 740,000 KRW (subject to change).
Therefore, the price of Tessi's necklace inevitably changed compared to its launch.
However,
Through this Wadiz Funding, we are offering a 12% discount to our supporters. We are excited to present it to you!

This is a Korean initial necklace where combining the pieces creates an even more special meaning.
The 14k Korean initial pendants are crafted in a long stick shape. This allows you to combine multiple pendants on a single chain.

We thought about how to make the combinations less monotonous and more unique, expressing a variety of moods. That’s how we ended up designing pendants in two different lengths. There are 14 consonant pendants from ㄱ to ㅎ, and each consonant comes in two different lengths.
With these two lengths, there are a total of 28 Korean consonant pendants. (14x2=28)Among these 28 pendants,You can choose and combine the consonant and length you want, making this a completely new concept for a Korean initial necklace.

To offer a variety of color combinations, the two lengths of consonant pendants are made in yellow gold and rose gold. If you choose different gold colors when combining, you’ll have an even more attractive necklace with a two-tone effect.

After trying countless chains to match the pendants, we selected a lovely yet luxurious 14k rose gold chain and 14k yellow goldGoban chain. We chose this chain because it adds a subtle curve to the simple consonant pendants, which have a strong image of lines and surfaces, without being excessive. The standard length for the women’s chain will be 40cm, as worn by the model. We recommend wearing the consonant necklace at this slightly shorter length.
Also, the clutch of the chain is beautifully engraved with the 14k and Tessi logos.

"ㅈ ㅅ ㅈ"
Looking back, I have always enjoyed making things with my hands since middle and high school.
Whenever Christmas came around, I would happily go through the entire process—from designing the packaging box, buying chocolates and candies to put inside, making cellophane bags, wrapping with ribbons, and finally delivering the gift to my friend myself. It felt as if the process of creating something while thinking of someone was my destiny.
However, I ended up choosing Ewha's Department of Secretarial Studies (now the Department of International Office Administration), which had nothing to do with making things, and spent my college years without passion, unable to escape due to lack of courage. It was only after graduation that I set foot on the path of art(?). I entered the Department of Environmental Sculpture at the University of Seoul together with friends four years younger than me. ^^ Although I am not famous as a sculptor now, I think the strength that allows me to plan and create things at this age comes from the time I spent back in the sculpture department.

In the past, when IT devices were not as common as they are now, mail meant postal mail with stamps, and getting to know someone from abroad was impossible except by traveling there yourself. At that time, pen pals were very trendy. There was a place called the Pen Pal Association in a shabby building near the Shinsegae Department Store in Myeong-dong, and I used to take the bus there to pick up a few letters from foreign friends. Then I would stay up all night looking up words in the dictionary to write replies.
In the past, English was the design motif for fashion, culture, and all things cultural, but now Korean culture is emerging as a new trend. It feels different from when English was the design motif. Even I found initial jewelry made only with the alphabet to be boring. I wanted to present a new design inspired by 'Hangeul,' which is recognized worldwide for its scientific and unique structure.

You will surely fall in love with Tessy's hidden 'Hangeul' jewelry designs.

Q. Are there any precautions I should take when wearing it?
Yes. Tessy's Hangeul Consonant Necklace has a specific direction for wearing. When you wear it and lift the pendant to show it to someone, the correct consonant shape should be visible to them. That way, the beautiful side of the pendant is displayed.
Q. Does 14k gold discolor?
Yes, it can. Since it is not pure gold but an alloy, it has the properties of other metals besides gold. Please do not leave it unattended for a long time, and when not wearing it, gently wipe it with the included polishing cloth and store it in a plastic bag to keep it beautiful for a long time.
Q. Are there any precautions I should take when Funding?
When combining more than one consonant pendant, please carefully consider the order of the consonants during Funding. For example, ㅅㅈ and ㅈㅅ can have different meanings.
Q. I want to use it as a couple necklace. What should I do about the chain length?
If both of you have an average build, you can choose 40cm for women and 50cm for men as the basic option. If you need a longer chain, please contact us. Chain length can be extended, and additional charges may apply. For chain length extensions, please contact the maker through the inquiry option. We will provide consultation on the length, additional charges, and payment methods.
Q. What does not qualify as a defect in the Reward?
Since every step is handcrafted by an artisan, there may be slight differences in shape even with the same consonant. Please note that this is not considered a defect in the Reward.
