and ricochets occur when pellets collide during rapid fire.

The Lock-On wooden target even considers situations without a target sheet.
We have taken into account situations where there is no target sheet.
Through hundreds of tests,
we developed a unique structure that guides BB pellets inside,
minimizing ricochets even during rapid fire.

Material selection considering portability
It must be easy to carry for frequent use.
The body is made of lightweight pine wood.
The front part, which may receive impact,
is made of solid rubberwood.
Strength is applied where needed,
and unnecessary weight is reduced.
While maintaining a wide shooting area and high durability,
the weight is kept around 5kg.
The finish uses high-strength eco-friendly urethane varnish,
to preserve the natural texture of the wood,
and further enhance durability.

This is not a thin mesh that tears after a few uses.
The Lock-On wooden target uses highly durable
high-strength mesh fabric.
Under conditions much harsher than actual use,
durability tests were conducted with thousands of rounds,
to ensure shooting performance.
There was no deformation even after testing.
It can be used semi-permanently.
In addition, to prepare for unexpected damage or long-term use,
it is designed for easy mesh replacement.
Anyone can easily replace and use it when needed.
(We conducted a durability test of the spring firing mechanism using a metal gas gun with the power brake removed.)
LED indirect lighting is installed as standard.
More practical when shooting,
and more stylish when not in use.
With built-in LED indirect lighting,
it creates a subtle atmosphere in the space with gentle indirect lighting.
Also, when shooting, light leaks through the hit area,
making it possible to identify the hit location
more easily even from a distance.

The Lock-On wooden target is produced in small quantities at domestic workshops.
Rather than fast production for mass manufacturing,
we focused on creating highly finished products.

Future Goals
This project does not end with simple target sales.
We are currently developing internal LED indirect lighting effects and
a system using a smartphone camera
to automatically recognize AI shot placement.
In the future, we plan to implement automatic scoring for shot placement recognition,
and provide shooting record management functions,
developing it into a smart target platform.
This funding is the first step.
