Hello, I am Kim Ji-hang, CEO of Ssangchi Roaster. Ssangchi Roaster is an organic specialty manufacturer that produces trustworthy food products using clean organic ingredients. What we value most is how we handle raw materials from start to finish. We consider where the ingredients are grown, who cultivated them, how they are selected and inspected, and what processes turn them into products. The more often a product is consumed, the more precise the manufacturer must be.
Solsol Organic Sword Bean Tea was born from this philosophy. While all sword bean teas may look the same on the outside, the character of each product differs depending on the source of the ingredients, content, processing methods, and whether unnecessary additives are used. That is why Ssangchi Roaster decided not to accept the notion that 'all sword bean teas are the same.' We wanted to create a product where the ingredients and their amounts could be clearly verified.
Another standard was 'Can it be enjoyed every day?' Instead of making the flavor or aroma too strong, we chose a mild and clean taste that can be enjoyed for a long time without burden. Why Wadiz?
The reason we are launching this project on Wadiz is simple. This product tells the story of being a child's first tea made from organic ingredients, but we felt it was difficult to fully explain our story and standards through conventional sales channels. On Wadiz, we can transparently share not only the product itself but also how we select our ingredients, the standards we use, and what products we are preparing for the future, from start to finish. Through this campaign, we want to honestly show how well Ssangchi Roaster makes products, for whom, and in what way, beyond just selling.
Funding Usage Plan
Rather than simply making one good product and stopping there, we plan to use the funds to continuously develop even better products. First, we will use the funds to manage organic ingredients more reliably. Since ingredient quality can vary depending on timing and supply, it is crucial to maintain consistent standards for sourcing good ingredients. Therefore, we will further refine our criteria for ingredient selection, inspection, and storage, and prepare to ensure stable production. As we did with Solsol Sword Bean Tea, we will continue to invest in developing organic products that the whole family can enjoy daily without burden. We will also improve existing products for greater completeness and keep striving to help more people lead healthier lives.
