The background for preparing this project is,
Why is my pet acting this way? This is a concern that every pet owner has had at least once. Even if there are changes such as sleeping more than usual, reduced activity, or staying in a specific place for a long time, owners often miss these signs. As someone who has worked in the pet industry, I have seen many owners notice small changes too late and become anxious. However, most products on the market currently rely on collars, wearable devices, or cameras. These have limitations, such as pets disliking wearing them, needing to be charged, and being difficult to use continuously. That is why I focused on the living spaces where pets spend most of their time. I started thinking about how to collect natural lifestyle data without requiring pets to wear any devices, by applying sensors to lifestyle pet furniture such as cushions, beds, and mats. As a result, SUMGYEOL was born. SUMGYEOL is an AI-based, non-wearable health monitoring platform that analyzes activity patterns and lifestyle changes through everyday pet furniture and notifies owners of any abnormal signs. We are not just creating a product; we aim to create a service that turns owners' anxiety into peace of mind. This Wadiz crowdfunding is an important first step for producing SUMGYEOL's first prototype and enhancing the app service. We want to deliver peace of mind to more pets and owners together with you.

Data is naturally collected from the spaces pets usually use, without collars or wearable devices.

When abnormal signs are detected, notifications are sent to the owner to enable faster attention and care.
