The name of the publishing house, Booksfear, wittily reflects the honest fear at the time of its founding: 'What if we go bankrupt after publishing books?'.

CEO Kim Hong-min, also known by the nickname 'Samsong Kim Sajang'.

He is famous for planning extraordinary events that engage with readers, rather than simply marketing books. He once led a reader expedition to Japan to meet Miyabe Miyuki, and traveled around bookstores nationwide with an author for ten days to carry out the event 'Will Go Anywhere for a Meal'.

WHY Wadiz

The first time I read Maha Harada's novel was over ten years ago.

I went into a restaurant alone and thought I'd read a few pages while waiting for my food, but I got so absorbed that I finished the book without even noticing if the food was going into my mouth or nose. The plot was amazing, but above all, I was astonished by the artistic details. I began to wish I could publish this author's book myself. However, the regular single-volume book market, composed only of text, was too limited a vessel to fully contain this grand art mystery that overwhelms readers visually and tactilely.

'This book should not be just a novel, but a grand art collection.'

With that realization, we dedicated another four years. We searched Europe and secured an exclusive contract for original etchings by the master Ivan Rusachek, and finally completed the masterpiece 'Revolver Collection,' a perfect fusion of print and fine art. We are unveiling this complete work for the first time exclusively to Wadiz supporters.

This is the beginning of this project.

Q. Is an etching different from a print?
A. Yes, it is completely different. Unlike reproductions printed by a printer, an etching is an original print (authentic print) created by the artist using etching techniques directly on a metal plate. It comes with the artist's handwritten signature, edition number, and a certificate of authenticity.

Q. Are all 200 pieces the same artwork?
A. Although they are printed from the same plate with the same design, each piece has subtle differences depending on ink density, pressure, and paper absorption. These differences are the unique charm of printmaking.

Q. Can I actually use the Van Gogh stamp?
A. Yes, it is a real, usable stamp produced by the post office. You can also keep it as a collectible.
