SAFE TAMPON
Project Background
- One day, when my girlfriend said she was "in pain" during her period, I realized I did not fully understand her discomfort. However, that conversation led me to listen more closely and think deeply about the recurring discomfort and burden during menstruation, as well as the anxieties that can arise from using conventional tampons.
Safe Tampon isdesigned by combining a silicone protective shell on the outside of the conventional tampon absorbent, with an added storage structure at the bottom.
While maintaining the absorbency of traditional tampons, we aimed to propose a new structure that offers a greater sense of protection and reduces discomfort.
This crowdfunding is not simply for sales, but to raise funds for the next stage of completing Safe Tampon as an actual product.
The funds raised will be used forKFDA certification costs, prototype enhancement, mold and production preparation, package production, testing, and productization preparation process.
Safe Tampon began by questioning the discomforts that were taken for granted.
Through this crowdfunding, we hope to offer a new option to more people and take one step closer to actual productization.

- Hello, we are the makers of Safe Tampon.
Safe Tampon began with a very personal question.
While talking about the discomfort experienced by someone close during their period, I realized that I had been taking that discomfort for granted. After that, I started to re-examine the inconveniences such as friction, dryness, and blood stains that can be felt when using conventional tampons, and began to consider new structures that could reduce even a little of that burden.
Safe Tampon is a product designed by combining a silicone protective shell on the outside of the conventional tampon absorbent and adding a bottom storage structure. We are developing it with the goal of maintaining the convenience of traditional tampons while reducing the discomfort and burden that may be felt during use.
Currently, we are reviewing the feasibility of commercialization by working on structural design, prototype production, and filing for patents and design registrations. Through this project, we hope to share the direction of Safe Tampon with more people and complete it as an actual product.
We are not yet a fully established brand, but as makers who are taking concrete steps to create better menstrual products, we have prepared this project with sincerity. We would appreciate it if you could watch the beginning of Safe Tampon with us.

The reason we came to Wadiz.
Through this project, we want to see if Safe Tampon can become a new option that reduces the discomfort experienced when using conventional tampons. We also hope to further improve the product structure and user experience based on supporters' feedback and reflect it in the actual commercialization process.
The funds will be used for prototype advancement, mold and production preparation, and package production to complete Safe Tampon as an actual product. Wadiz is the first starting point for Safe Tampon to move from an idea to a practical product.
