The background for preparing this project is,

For some, the sea is a journey,
But for me, it was a memory I wanted to cherish for a long time.

A few years ago, when I traveled toMaldives the sea I first encountered there still remains vivid in my memory.

The waves sparkling transparently under the sunlight,
The emerald sea that changed with every hour,
The gentle movement of the calm waves.

"Could I capture this moment in my hands?"

With that thought alone, the creation of the WAVE keycap began.

Instead of simply using blue resin,
We repeated dozens of color mixing and tests to express the depth, clarity, and the changing waves of the real sea depending on the light.

Although it is just a small keycap,
I made it with the hope that it would become a piece that could remind someone of the summer sea, even for a moment, on their desk.

I wanted to express the colors and waves of the transparent sea I encountered during my travels just as they were.

The depth and clear colors that change depending on the angle of the light are all contained in a single keycap.
