Hello. I am Kim Ji-hoon, the head of Cocographer Studio and a photographer. I used to work in sales and marketing, which had nothing to do with photography. By chance, I was introduced to photography, and within a year, I became a full-time photographer through self-study. I have been taking photos for about 10 years, mainly shooting portraits in various fields, and I have published two volumes of the portrait photo book [Memories].

Reason for Wadiz Funding

I decided to proceed with this project to offer a better lecture to those who find it difficult to start portrait photography or have been disappointed by other courses. Many people who wanted to attend my offline classes could not join due to time and distance, and I also wanted to connect with those who do not yet know me.

The first photo book by photographer Kim Ji-hoon (Cocographer), featuring emotional portraits. This photo book was created over about a year, from May 2019 to April 2020, in Jeju, Korea, and Osaka, Kyoto, and Hokkaido in Japan, together with Kim Jung-hyun, who is active as a singer-songwriter and model.

Spring in Jeju, cherry blossoms and the sea. Summer in Japan, the Philosopher's Path and Ine Funaya in Kyoto, sailor uniforms and trains in Osaka. Autumn in Jeju, oreum, silver grass, and the autumn sky. Winter in Japan, Biei and Otaru in Hokkaido, Sapporo, Mori Girl, and train stations. Each location features outfits and concepts that delight the viewer's eyes. Therefore, this photo book can serve as a great reference for anyone interested in photography. Moreover, with a total of over 500 photos across both volumes, it is already highly collectible.

• About the Author

A photographer who makes ordinary daily life extraordinary, mainly shooting portraits. After working as a sales representative, he started photography as a hobby and became a professional commercial photographer a year later. His unique color sense, compositions that skillfully combine backgrounds and subjects, and his storytelling style have become a genre of their own. He values emotional connection with models above all and strives to bring out the beauty of his subjects. He is active in various commercial photography fields and runs a photo class, offering both theoretical and practical lectures on photography. He has also provided online photography courses through Connects.

Cocographer's [Introduction to Portrait Photography / Lightroom Class A TO Z] is an e-book produced as a PDF file.The email registered when signing up for Wadiz will be used to deliver it to supporters.

Since the photo book is a physical item, not an e-book, it will be shipped sequentially via courier. Shipping is free, and there is no additional shipping fee for remote or island areas.
