When I first encountered the Pensive Bodhisattva at the museum, what impressed me most was not its splendor, but its tranquility. I wondered why this presence, which has offered comfort to so many over a thousand years, should remain only inside a museum.

Since then,I began the work of bringing cultural heritage into today's daily life.

While creating the Pensive Bodhisattva, I focused on the hand gestures, or mudras, of the Buddha statue. A single change in gesture completely alters its meaning. That discovery was the beginning of this series.

We tested the colors dozens of times, and the position of the luminous lotus was adjusted repeatedly by just a few millimeters, as it changed the overall impression. This is because we wanted to create an object that is not just a simple ornament, but something that allows you to rest your mind for a moment as you end your day.

The Pensive Mudra is the result of that contemplation.

While preparing for this Funding, the most important thing was not sales.

The main Buddha statue is about 9cm. It is small enough to fit in your palm, so you can place it anywhere—on your desk, shelf, or bedside table—without any burden.

Q. Is there a difference between purchasing a single item and a set?
A single item allows you to own one Mudra of your choice, while the others are composed of 3 Mudras, 3 Mudras + 1 Original, 5 Mudras, or 5 Mudras + 1 Original. The collection looks most complete when displayed together.

Q. Is it good as a gift?
