Q1. Can I purchase overseas direct purchase or proxy sales products?

According to the Ministry's proxy purchase guidelines, based on Article 24 (Prohibition of Description and Advertisement) and Article 26, Paragraph 1 (Prohibition of General Acts) of the Medical Device Act,It is prohibited to act as a proxy for purchasing medical devices from unauthorized sellers. In addition, under the Customs Act, overseas purchases of all medical devices are, in principle, prohibited from customs clearance.

Q2. Can children use bite away® two?

A2.Children aged 12 and older who can use it by themselves may use it independently. This is possible.For children aged 36 months and older up tounder 12 years old, use only with adult assistance. For young children, as they may be startled by the hot sensation, please refrain from use or use only after sufficient testing.

Q3. Can it relieve itching after a mosquito bite?

A3. Bite Away is a medical device that temporarily relieves itching by applying localized heat to the mosquito bite area.medical device.

For reference, this productwas confirmed in clinical trials to relieve itching when used for 5 seconds within 10 minutes after a mosquito bite.

Q4. Is there a risk of burns due to the heat during operation?

A4. A ceramic pad heated to approximately 51°C delivers heat locally to the mosquito bite area for 3 or 5 seconds.

A5. It should be used when you feel itching after a mosquito bite.If necessary, it can be used multiple times on the same area. However, when applying to the same area, allow at least a 2-minute interval, and do not use more than 5 times within 1 hour.

Q6. Can bite away® two prevent mosquito bites?

Q7. Can bite away® two be used on all parts of the body? 

A7. No. Do not use on the eyes or eyelids, mucous membranes, open wounds, damaged skin, burns or burned skin, frostbite, small fiber neuropathy, dysesthesia, hyperalgesia, or areas with skin tumors or malignant changes. It can be used on areas other than those listed above.

Q8. If a severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic reaction) occurs after a mosquito bite, can bite away® two be used?   

A8. If the first signs of an anaphylactic reaction occur (e.g., itching, redness, swelling or moisture formation; dizziness, nausea, difficulty breathing, low or high blood pressure),contact a doctor immediately.

Q9. Can I use rechargeable batteries?

Q10. How should I store it?

A10. If you do not plan to use it for an extended period, the batteries should be removed and stored separately. Acid leaking from the batteries can damage the bite away® two device.

Q11. What are the differences between bite away® two and the original product?

A11. bite away® two is an improved version of the original, using smaller and lighter AAA (LR03) batteries. It is also compatible with both regular and rechargeable batteries. (However, the official maximum usage count of 300 times is based on regular batteries.)

The battery cover opening and closing mechanism has been improved, making battery replacement even easier.

A silent mode has been added that allows you to turn off the notification sound during operation, so you can use it quietly at night or in public places.
